Responsibility :


  • Manage the allocated regions' Sales activities to ensure achievement of the revenue sales target in accordance with Company commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Anticipate competitor activities by monitoring market trends recommend strategies in a timely manner to retain commercial initiatives and remain on target to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Monitor route profitability and suggest ways of improvement.
  • Evaluate and identify potential markets with a view to expanding the business in the Region.
  • Lead guide and develop the sales team and provide the required support and advice on negotiations and administration of accounts to ensure high productivity.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Sales Groups teams to ensure they are well developed, equipped, and motivated to perform their respective functions effectively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Travel Agents Corporates and Local Authorities and attend industry functions on a regular basis to establish contacts network and promote the interests of Emirates during and out of office hours as required.
  • Develop, negotiate and agree incentive agreements with appointed agents review and define thresholds and strategy to ensure consistency across all region sales portfolios.
  • Manage and allocate marketing funds ensuring targets are in place to review ROI.
  • Plan prepare and control quarterly and annual Sales Business Plans and budgets for sales activities in the region in liaison with local commercial reporting position within the region.
  • Conduct regional sales meetings to provide a forum for local issues to be discussed and managed. Where required issues with wider impact are to be escalated to the relevant functional managers and or commercial reporting position with the region for necessary follow up.
  • Manage and review Regional Cost Centres. Maintain close working relationships with management and or Contact Centre and region airports to ensure Emirates interests and requirements are effectively represented.
  • Be the primary spokesperson and ensure that Emirates portrays a positive image in the Region.
  • Represent Emirates at industry forums in the assigned regions and protect Emirates interests at such forums to ensure that the brand image is held at the highest level of professionalism.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key local bodies and representatives. Lead point of contact for any regional sponsorship relationships driven by HO Monitor and assess agents for any credit worthiness risks using available tools RDOC CRM AI app and aim to mitigate risks as effectively as possible

Qualification


  • Commercial Sales Other: 8 Years Degree or Honours 123 or equivalent Degree holder, preferably in business administration or economics. Experience in commercial sales experience of which a minimum of 5 years should be at a sales leadership level.
  • Knowledge of airline reservations and ticketing. Knowledge of the seat price elasticity in the region and the associated competitive travel agency dynamics.
